Jesus had a specific place He went to pray. Have a designated place to pray to help remove any and all distractions and allow you to freely worship. You can prepare it with whatever you might need to fully engage in prayer.
Jesus got up early in the morning to spend time with His Heavenly Father. Make a daily appointment with God — whether it's first thing in the morning, at lunch... for a few minutes or a long stretch of time — and faithfully keep it.
Jesus gave his disciples instructions on how to pray. Consider incorporating worship music or journaling into your prayer time. Not everyone’s approach will look the same, but it helps to have a set plan for connecting intimately with God.
